After a collision with a semi-truck, we needed a LOT of work mechanically. We were so impressed in the five years we've lived in Springfield with Complete, we had our vehicle towed there as a matter of course. Even more than usual, they impressed us with their efficiency, professionalism and care.

TOOK MY CAR IN, PAYED THE FIRST TOW BILL. STATED MY CAR WAS DONE 14 DAYS LATER BROKE DOWN IN ST LOUIS. THEY SAID CALL THE WARRANTY COMPANY SO I DID. WHAT THEY DO NOT TELL YOU IS THAT YOU PAY TOW FEE AND YOU ARE ONLY REFUNDED UP TO 75.00 AFTER PROOF, SO YOUR OUT MORE MONEY. ARGUED WITH THEM ABOUT NEVER BEING TOLD THAT, STRESSED THAT I AM OUT OF TOWN GOT THE TOW GUY OUT AND THE CABLES WERE LOOSE. AFTER HE WIGGLED THEM THE CAR STARTED. GOT IT TO THE SHOP, THEY SAID IT WAS LOOSE FROM THIS COMPANIES FIX, BUT I COULD KEEP IT OVERNIGHT BECAUSE IT WAS CLOSING. HE ALSO STATES THERE WAS NO WAY OF TESTING THAT PART TO SEE IF IT WAS BAD, SO HOW DID THIS SHOP DETERMINE THAT THIS WAS THE PROBLEM? AFTER ARGUING THE FACT THAT THEY MESSED UP AND THIS WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE WITH NOW MORE MONEY SHELLED OUT FOR HOTEL FEES AND THE BIG INCONVENIENCE CARL THE OWNER SAID THEY WOULD REFUND MY MONEY. NOW THIS WAS NOT BECAUSE THEY WERE TAKING OWNERSHIP OR CARED IT WAS IN FACT A WAY OF GETTING THEM OUT OF THE CIRCLE FROM THEIR NEGLIGENCE. I AGREED NOT KNOWING THIS WAS THEIR INTENTION. THE NEXT DAY I WAS ABLE TO PICK MY CAR UP AND RETURN BACK TO SPFD. WHEN I ARRIVED TO PICK UP MY REFUND I ASKED UPON SIGNING WOULD THIS VOID MY WARRANTY AND THE WOMAN AT THE DESK TRYED PUTTING IT OFF ON THE SHOP IN ST LOUIS, I ASKED HER WHY WOULD THEY BE RESPONSIBLE AND SHE SAID SHE WOULD HAVE THE OWNER CALL ME BACK. TWO DAYS LATER, NOW SATURDAY EVENING THE CAR HAS THE SAME PROBLEM FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. WHEN I CALLED CARL BACK TO INFORM HIM HE STATED HE REFUNDED MY MONEY AND BECAUSE I DIDN'T TRUST THEM RIGHTFULLY SO IT WAS OUT OF THEIR HANDS. THEY ARE NOT HONEST AND THIS IS THE PRIME EXAMPLE OF WHY PEOPLE DO NOT TRUST MECHANICS TO BEGIN WITH. NEVER GO TO THEM, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF, THEY CAN NOT EVEN EXPLAIN HOW THEY CAME TO DIAGNOSE MY CAR WITH THE PROBLEM THEY SAID IT WAS IN THE BEGINNING. THEY WILL NOT TAKE OWNERSHIP, NOR BE HONEST AND YOUR CAR WOULD BE BETTER OFF BEING FIXED BY A CRACKHEAD IN THE GHETTO.... NEVER TRUST THEM, I MEAN NEVER TRUST THEM EVEN FOR AN OIL CHANGE. THEY WILL SAY THEY GAVE ME MY MONEY BACK BLAH BLAH BLAH BUT WHEN YOU PAY A PLACE FOR A JOB YOU EXPECT THEM TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND WHAT TO FIX.... NOT AT ALL SO I AM PATIENTLY AWAITING THEIR SILLY AND NONE TRUSTFUL RESPONSE AND THEY WILL SAY BECAUSE I WAS UPSET I ABUSED THEM LOL NO SIR I WAS BROKE DOWN, OUT OF TOWN, AND UPSET. WHY I WAS NEVER PROPERLY INFORMED ABOUT THE WARRANTY STATING I PAY IN ADVANCE. MARK SAID IT WAS A LOT OF INFO FOR HIM TO REMEMBER. UM HELLO THAT IS A PRETTY IMPORTANT PART. DO NOT JUST BE A SALESMAN, BUT ACTUALLY BE A NORMAL, HONEST BUSINESS MAN NOT TRYING TO TAKE ADVANGE OF A WOMAN. DO NOT LEARN BY MY MISTAKES, TRUST ME SO WORTH IT IN SKIPPING THEM AND PAYING SOMEONE BETTER EVEN IT COST MORE OTHERWISE THIS WILL COST YOU MORE IN THE LONG RUN AWAY. THEY CLAIMTHEY ARE CHRISTIAN, BUT I WOULD HATE TO FEEL THE WRATH OF GOD THAT THEY WILL FACE....

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND. I called and asked how much it would cost to get a diagnosis for my car and was given a price of about $120. I dropped my car off at the scheduled time and not even an hour had passed before they called me, which I originally thought was great timing. They said I would at least need oil because I was apparently out. Then they proceeded to tell me that they would have to do more tests and asked to keep it over the weekend. I told them I would give them a call back (after I weighed transportation options). When I called back I thought I would just double check that it wouldn’t cost anything extra..and it did. They said they wanted ANOTHER $100-$150!! I’m still not sure if they were planning on telling me ahead of time if I had ended up leaving it there for the weekend or if it would’ve just be a fun surprise bill on Monday. When I asked why I wasn’t told about the potential of it costing even more, I was told “Well maybe we should have, but we didn’t want to scare you”. Yeah, they didn’t want to scare me out of spending money on them. I was trying to avoid paying the price of going to a dealership but it looks like I’ll have to do that anyways. And at least they’ll do what I’ll pay them to do.
