When your child calls with car trouble and you need an honest, friendly reliable mechanic service call Complete Automotive and ask for Tori!! I tell you she was so kind and talked to us like a friend truly wanting to help us on the almost holiday weekend(memorial day) Other places told us they were not available till Tuesday and not helpful. We got the car to Complete Automotive and got it right in and checked..told us what was wrong and they would do their best to get it done same day! They were able to get it fixed and back on the road that day. Completely fixed and safe. I will tell everyone to go there and will revisit next time I'm in Automotive need! Ive taken my Jeep to several different shops around Springfield area and never could get a solution to the problem. It took complete automotive two hours to figure the problem out and was super cheap. My Jeep is never ran better thank you so much and I will always bring my vehicle to your shop at the future

This place is a joke.. its cheaper to go to a dealership rather than here. plus at a dealership you get name brand parts, not cheap Chinese knockoff reproduction junk.

I had been going to the same mechanic for over 20 years and unfortunately it’s not the company it used to be. That being said, one door closes another one opens and I gave Complete Automotive at Chestnut and Barnes a chance to earn my business and boy did they surpass my expectations. Very friendly, they send pictures of what’s actually wrong with your car so you can see it instead of giving you a printout, that from experience I can tell you isn’t always honest. You visually see what is wrong so you know what they are looking at and why they are recommending future repairs. I’m a single dad with one vehicle and after the worst snowstorm we had in early 2025, they were still willing to give me a courtesy ride to pick up my truck. The roads were not very good. Communication with them is awesome and there’s no hard upsell. Not to mention they send you letters thanking you and attach a discount to the letter for your next service. I (thought) I just had a starter go out and had terminals replaced on my battery. The day I had it towed this letter came in the mail with almost 50 bucks off the service. As a single dad on a very tight budget, that was nice. Honesty, this is where I really experienced that today. I thought my starter had gone out, but it was probably just the battery terminal more than likely that had cracked and they let me know that and left the decision up to me. They could’ve just thought hey, he thinks it’s the starter, let’s make a few bucks. They didn’t. They were willing to just fix the terminals and see if that worked and I said let’s just do the starter too because it’s had some issues for a while anyway. This was at 9 o’clock in the morning on my first break. At 4 o’clock my truck was ready to go. Full inspection included so I knew what I needed to keep in mind and they even give you a pie graph showing you what is needed to be done immediately down to you need to do it sometime. I definitely recommend giving these folks a shot if you’re having trouble with your car or truck.
