Went in to get inspection, was told I needed both inner tie rods among other things. One tie rod had a tiny bit of play,other was tight. Wanted about 350, luckily I can do that. Also said I needed a timing belt, which I had changed myself a month prior.

Called Mark at 0730 and had my van in the shop bay at 0815. They looked very busy but being that we are from Texas and just passing thru had us fixed and back on the road at 1100. Had two hoses bust. Would highly recommend these folks to anyone. Plus they had us a shuttle back to the hotel and picked us up to retrieve van when fixed. 1 million stars from us.

I was having come car issues with my steering wheel shaking and my car pulling to the right. I had brought my car to a different mechanic (who had what seemed to be no customer service at all) in town that was trying to over charge me for something as simple as new tires and an alignment. I wanted a second opinion and saw that Complete Automotive had some great reviews! Mark worked with me all day to explain what the issue was, how it was going to be fixed, what the estimate with tax would be so I was not surprised, and was just an overall great person to work with! Mark was so nice to even work with me on a price for 4 brand new tires. The payment option was so easy as well!! My boyfriend and I both work daytime jobs and we’re unable to get there to pick up my car before they closed. Mark explained how easy it was to pay online, and surely enough, it WAS super easy! I haven’t felt like I could truly trust a mechanic until now. I will be bringing using Complete Automotive from here on out and recommending everyone I know there too! I do not live in Springfield. I travel Missouri and found the people here at Complete Automotive 2 years ago. I had just arrived here in town right before an important appointment with Springfield Schools. I had an unexpected flat tire and was certain that I was going to be late for my presentation. The people at Complete Automotive saved my day. I searched for a location near me that could be of help and I couldn't have been luckier. Not only did that take my car in at that moment to help me with my tire need but they cared about my particular predicament. They immediately sent out a member of their staff to pick me up, transfer my presentation items to their vehicle AND drive me to my appointment, in addition pick me up! All the while they worked on my vehicle. I just love this place. It is the greatest feeling now a days to work with people who really care. I decided to buy new tires here. They rotate them for me whenever I need whereas I travel Missouri working with library's and always want to get where I'm going safely and on time. I truly would recommend this business and give them 100 stars out of 5. :-)

TLDR: Go to G.L. Moore next door. Generally knowledgable mechanics, but they charge about 20% more than the dealership for service on a 2nd Gen Prius, and much more than the Repair Pal averages. Absolutely insane prices. Paid $165 for new spark plugs, and $260 for a transmission fluid change (adding BG ATF conditioner - after I requested they use only OEM fluid). Also $117 for what they call a "courtesy" multi point inspection. Agreed to pay the $600 total because the mechanic and I talked about the possibility of a failing serpentine belt, and oil that was overfilled from the last change - both were listed as concerns on the online inspection report, so I assumed they were included. The excess oil was not drained, the belt was not replaced, and sounds louder than before. There are plenty of shops with integrity in Springfield, and Complete Automotive doesn't seem to be one of them.
